542 Boulevard a residential project located in the heart of Old fourth Ward went through City Council on May 11th and was approved for a parking variance. The required parking for the site was a challenge to achieve due it being extremely narrow. Our solution was to implement an automated parking structure that would hold 8 cars in the footprint needed for 3 traditional parking spaces at the base of the building. We are currently working on design development drawings for this project and believe that this type of development will have a positive impact on the revitalization of the Boulevard corridor.
